Coach Lee Yucong
Lead Coach
Coach Lee Yucong is the lead coach at SWIM2000 and a former national-level swimmer who represented Singapore at the 2004 SEA Age Group Championships in Da Nang, Vietnam, winning Silver in the 50m Butterfly. Trained under Coach Jack from a young age, he progressed through Anglo-Chinese School (Primary), Raffles Institution, and Raffles Junior College — winning Gold at the Inter-Primary School Championships and multiple medals at the National Schools Championships across butterfly events. He has over 20 years of coaching experience developing swimmers from complete beginners through to competitive level.
Today, he leads the coaching system at SWIM2000, applying the same structured approach that guided his own development.
Coaching Background
Yucong trained through Singapore’s competitive swimming pathway, representing top institutions including ACS (Primary), Raffles Institution, and Raffles Junior College. He went on to compete at SEA-level competitions, establishing himself as a top performer in butterfly events.
His journey from structured training to national-level performance forms the foundation of the coaching system used at SWIM2000 today.
