SWIM2000 is a father and son team with more than 50 years of teaching experience in Singapore, and has groomed many swimmers who have gone on to compete at the national and international levels.
Coach Yucong
Yucong has been a swimmer through his school days. From Direct School Admission to Anglo-Chinese School (Primary) then to Raffles Institution and Raffles Junior College. He has represented his schools and also Singapore in various swimming tournaments, achieving podium position for all of them. Being a coach himself, his teaching beliefs align with his father: Proper values and techniques should be learnt from each passing lesson, however with more focus on fun.
Coach Jack
Since 1976, Uncle Jack has been teaching swimming as a Physical Training Instructor (PTI) in the army for the cadets and moving on to teaching as a private swimming coach. He has groomed many school and state swimmers throughout his career. His Philosophy in teaching his students is firm yet fun. This is done so as to impart the right values and proper techniques but in a fun and engaging way.
